Maintenance Planning Engineer | Static Plant
Stevin Rock | Ras Al Khaimah, UAE
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Planning Engineer to join our team at our flagship limestone quarry in Ras Al Khaimah.
This is a key role supporting the reliability and availability of our static plant, including crushers, screens, conveyor systems and associated equipment.
The Role
You will be responsible for developing and coordinating effective maintenance plans that help maximise plant availability, reduce unplanned downtime and ensure maintenance activities are properly scheduled, resourced and executed.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing preventive and planned maintenance schedules for static plant equipment
- Planning shutdowns, major maintenance activities and equipment overhauls
- Coordinating labour, materials, spare parts and contractor requirements
- Working closely with maintenance and operations teams to prioritise work
- Reviewing equipment history, breakdowns and maintenance trends
- Improving maintenance planning, scheduling and asset reliability
- Ensuring maintenance plans support safe and efficient plant operations
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong experience in maintenance planning within mining, quarrying, cement or heavy industry
- Good technical knowledge of crushers, screens, conveyors and bulk material handling equipment
- Experience with CMMS or maintenance management systems
- Strong planning, analytical and coordination skills
- A practical, hands-on understanding of heavy industrial maintenance
