Position Description:

Our client has acquired a business and is transitioning 65 applications, including the SAP landscape covered by these roles, from the acquired business's legacy landscape into its own. Transition is about to begin. These roles will carry their process areas through the full arc: knowledge transfer and transition of the applications into the client's target environment, stabilization once they are live there, and steady state run with defined SLAs, runbooks, and clean documentation.

The delivery model is global. These consultants will work daily with CGI and client transition and application teams in other regions and time zones, and with third party vendors supporting the surrounding applications. Candidates need to be effective in that setting: clear written communication, disciplined handoffs, and the willingness to flex hours for overlap when the work requires it.

This role can be based remotely anywhere in the United States however Dallas, Texas is highly preferred.

Due to the nature of the work and in compliance with federal regulations, an active security clearance is required for this position.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

You will own the order to cash and procure to pay process areas for a manufacturing and aerospace client, covering Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, and Supplier Relationship Management. The immediate work is transitioning these processes into the client's target landscape, then stabilizing them and taking them into steady state run. You will sit with the client's supply chain and sales operations teams, so you need to be comfortable leading workshops and translating business problems into configuration and design decisions.

• Configure and support SAP SD (pricing, order management, delivery, billing, credit management, intercompany) and MM (purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification, release strategies, output determination).
• Support and extend SAP SRM: sourcing, contract management, catalog integration, and the SRM to ECC integration layer.
• Lead requirements workshops, write functional specifications, and work with ABAP and integration teams through build and test.
• Handle government and defense specific sales requirements such as contract driven pricing, export license checks on sales documents, and restricted party screening (SAP GTS integration where present).
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive fixes through change control.
• Lead the transition of your process area into the client's target environment: take knowledge transfer, document current state configuration and interfaces, validate migrated configuration and data, and confirm interfaces work end to end.
• Stabilize and run: establish steady state support processes, write runbooks and knowledge transfer documentation, and move the area to defined SLAs.
• Collaborate daily with distributed CGI and client teams across regions and time zones, and with third party vendors on connected applications.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 8+ years of SAP SD and MM configuration experience, including at least one full lifecycle implementation.
• 3+ years of hands on SRM experience (SRM 7.x), including classic or extended classic scenario setup.
• Strong understanding of the integration points between SD, MM, FI, and PP.
• Experience with EDI and IDoc processing for customer and vendor transactions.
• Experience on an M&A integration, carve out, or application transition program, including the shift from transition through stabilization into run.
• Proven ability to work with globally distributed teams and flex hours for time zone overlap.
• Active U.S. security clearance (Secret or higher preferred).
• U.S. person under ITAR, with working knowledge of export control requirements and how they affect sales and procurement processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing or aerospace and defense industry background, including DFARS and contract based procurement.
• Exposure to SAP GTS, Ariba, or S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement.
• Experience with serialized or batch managed materials and government furnished material tracking.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $113,400.00 $276,200.00.
