The Maintenance Planner coordinates all routine and non-routine maintenance activities. Identifies resources such as inspection, equipment, and material procurement required to coordinate tasks in a diverse work environment. Demonstrates string technical/functional skills related to specialized equipment and intricate knowledge of plant equipment, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities / Expectations:
Coordinates maintenance activities and communicates the schedule to our internal and external customers
Maintains accurate equipment history and reliability data for equipment
Drives and influences consistent application and improvement of our processes
Identifies efficient system operations mode on a real-time basis and causes adjustments to be made as the need arises to achieve optimum state
Collaborates with others to identify and suggest training needs
Identifies and communicates standard practices
Supports budget development and forecasting updates
Other duties as assigned
Education/Year of Experience:
Required: High school diploma/GED; a minimum of five (5) years maintenance experience (preferably as a technician, lead or planner), a minimum of two (2) years planning experience, and a minimum of three (3) years experience in the natural gas industry
Preferred: Vocational/Associates degree in technical field
Other Requirements:
Experience planning maintenance in compression-focused operations, utilizing condition-based maintenance (CBM) to improve equipment reliability and maintenance effectiveness. Experience with Ariel, Caterpillar, Waukesha, Solar, York/Frick, and Elliott compression and rotating equipment preferred.
Demonstrate aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes
Coordinates with others to verify duration of maintenance and scope of work to be performed.
Previous experience developing scope and detailed job plans for preventative and maintenance work.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
Maximo Power User Training completed.
Strong skills in Oracle or similar ERP system
Proficient in Power BI
