Lead Turnaround P6 Scheduler

The scheduler is responsible for all aspects of his/her assigned project area throughout its life cycle. Schedulers will walk down scope, verify progress, and coordinate with all parties to ensure the schedule reflects proper status and forecast. During execution Schedulers will mobilize to the field and provide daily forecasts for the management team. All Turnaround Schedulers will ensure the status of every phase is accurately reflected in the reporting cycle.
Detailed Planning & Schedule Development Phase
• Develop proper scheduling infrastructure for each turnaround: activity codes, resources, WBS nodes, etc. in Primavera P6. See P6 templates in database.
• Create and distribute weekly planning progress reports.
• Import jobs, tie logic, code, resource load/level all work in schedule.
• Facilitate schedule reviews with TMT and Ops.
• Work with planners and operations to develop decommissioning and commissioning plans for each system.
• Work with cost group and planners on histograms and start/stop dates of assigned contractors.
Execution Phase
• Follow assigned contractors/jobs and verify progress throughout all phases.
• Baseline Execution schedule

• Work with coordinators to monitor productivity of contractors throughout all phases.
• Monitor all contractor's safety practices.
• Monitor contractor's head count and ensure it is appropriate for the work fronts.
• Work with inspections to identify any additional/discovery work.
• Coordinate with cost group on AWR cost.
• Report all progress or workforce discrepancies to Project Manager.
Post TA & Close Out
• Issue 36 Hour Look Ahead for remaining Post TAR work daily.
• Update daily progress and report to Project Manager
